'01 trooper, 128k miles, 3.5L V6
Just had transmission rebuilt, replaced 2 clutch packs and planetary. Several days later, i switched on the Torque on Demand system (by pushing the button on the dash) while travelling at ~35mph, 4WD literally slams in, making the car jerk with a loud "thunk" sound. engaging TOD at full stop is OK, no jerk or thunk. Took it back to trans shop, mechanic is stumped. prior to rebuild, TOD worked fine and engaged smoothly at any speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated
