I have a 1998 Isuzu rodeo 130,000 miles. first my left single light would not turn off or work. now when i start my engine i can't put in reverse or drive the car has to be turned off. now my dash lights and outside back lights will not come on.

Check the fuses. 98 should have a shifter lock in it(assuming its an automatic). There sounds like a power feed problem. Check all grounds and power feeds under the hood as well as the under-dash fuse box
