Engine Performance problem
1993 Other Isuzu Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 124k miles
i recently bought a used 93 pickup, the car starts up and drives great, my concern is performance, the acceleration is very slow, example: when im driving down a country road at around 50-55 and start to drive up a long incline the car slows down slightly, maybe its because the car is older, but, what should i investigate mechanically first?, carb?, fuel system?, drivetrain?, or is this truck just REALLY slow?, perhaps fuel injection upgrade? i mean its a 2.3l, it should get up and move, thanks for your time
p.s. the pic isnt my car but its the same model minus the extended cab
