1989 Other Isuzu Models Fault in a relay

The warning lights for both 'charging' and 'low on fuel' in the instrument panel are lit simultaniously.

The engine dies when I release the throttle.

I suspect there is a fault in an electrical component somewhere...

Is the alternator putting out? Need to test it first then the battery and all connections to be sure they are clean and tight and free of corrosion
