My CD player will not eject the CD's properly. For some reason the CD's are stuck in the player. What can I do to assist to remove the discs?

Hi there,
Some players have a small hole on the face plate and you can insert a small probe to manually eject a stuck disc, if not the player will have to be removed and repaired as the eject carriage is defective.
