Check the water pump for end play, the pump bearing might be damage and the fan willbe shifting to sides on deceleration causing the engine to shut down. Also listen for the fan not rubbing against shroud cover.
Had same problem, fan belt even jumped out of pulley onetime and I still din't get it. until fan started rubbing against the shroud cover and antifreez leaking out from the bearing cage hole.
Changed water pump, NO MORE PROBLEMS of this nature. Good luck.

I had the same problem but mine was a fuel pump that was going bad or it could be a wire grounding our some where.
