I recently got my tires replaced and wheel alignment done two days ago. The first day the wheel felt clear and more sensitive than before. After two days i feel like the wheel is stiffening. Also, the car vibrates at certain speeds like 40-45MPH even after the wheel alignment and the new tires. I don’t know what’s going on. It obviously is not the wheel alignment causing the vibration.

Hello,

The vibration could be due to out of balance tire(s).
It is possible that the balancing wheel weight has come off and now the tire(s) is out of balance.
A good first step would be to have the tire balance checked. You might be able to take it to the same place that installed the tires and have them inspected.

Also, it will be important to make sure that the wheels are torqued properly.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

I replaced my tires about 3 days ago and on the 1st day my steering wheel felt light and easy to turn and felt clear but after those 2 days i feel like it’s stiffening again. I have to get my rotation done at 5,000 miles idk if it’s because of the rotation of that i need that's causing it but i really need help on why it’s becoming more stiff.

Hello,

You mention that the steering is stiffening again? Did you have a problem with your steering before the Tires were fitted?

It might be worthwhile to check that the tire pressure is correct as low pressure can cause heavier steering.

How to check tire pressure:

Yes, i have had a problem with it before the new tires. The tire pressure on each of the tires are different but not low just 1 above or 1 below.
