Is one of the discs in the CV axle looking further out than others an issue?

Okay, so, I got into an accident about 2 weeks ago there was not my fault and the guy tried to take off dealing with that situation now but car has been shaking kind of bad but still drivable. then yesterday I was turning out of a spot and heard a weird sound that concerned me. it started shaking harder after that point. so, I came home to look and check it out this is what I seen It looks like one of them is pushed out further than the rest. but I'm really not positive if that is a major issue and definitely needs to be replaced before driving any further or not and I just wanted to verify 100% from somebody who knows more do they all need to be pushed all the way in is one of them being out a little bit really that big of an issue and is there any way to push it back in without replacing,? And I'm so sorry I just took the video in my video and skills are so horrible I apologize for that but if you skip to the end, it'll show exactly what I'm talking about as far as the disc or knuckles inside the Cv axle go.

You did good, thanks for the video. It sounds like a cat was trying to help you lol. The CV axle looks bad, and it needs to be replaced. I would not drive it anymore because if it fails the car will be stranded. A replacement axle on amazon is like $65.00 and easier than trying for a boot kit, plus it looks like the CV is worn out anyway. Can I ask if when in the accident did it shift any suspension or engine mounts? how bad was the accident? Can you upload a video?

Here is a video of the drive axle being replaced and I have included instructions on how to do the job on your car in the images below.

This guide may help as well:

Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I got the CV axle changed out last night and about to take it on a test drive now I included a picture of my car after the accident below I really hope nothing else is messed up because I'll be doing it myself I only had basic liability coverage no under or uninsured motorist even this guy cut the off pulled in front without looking then tried to take off but I got his plate and I'm waiting to see if he had insurance or not if there's any other pics or angles. Let me know and I will take them. I'm hoping that's all it messed up and hopefully won't need to but will update if there are any further issues, thanks.

I am sorry to hear that, can I ask if the car goes straight down the road? Also, are there any weird noises while you drive? Hang in there :)

Okay, I got it changed out, goes pretty straight for most part. There is still a shaking happening intermittently at different speeds.so kind of concerned maybe the other needs to be changed.one of the bearings was cracked on the one I just did. I guess I should take wheel off and give it a look when I get a chance. If there's any specific videos u would like me to take lmk ,I'll try to get one of the shaking sometimes today if I can. thanks

I would raise the front of the car and just roll the wheel slowly to see if anything is bent like a rim or if a tire got damaged during the accident.
