Last month I changed starter motor and then after I realize my car has longer crank starting sounds as well. Mechanic said turn key several time before start Acc to on 10 seconds wait and then start. Something like that if it's better its mean bad fuel filter and pump.

I just want to know this sounds starting normal for old and long driven car?

Just to clarify was that the long crank or was that after about 10 times of turning the key?

If that was how it starts on the first turn then that would not concern me at all. It cranks about 3 times and that is pretty normal. It may have started quicker prior but until it is cranking for about 3-5 seconds I would not worry about it.

If that was after turning the key a number of times then get a video of it on the first turn of the key so we can see how long it takes to start.

In general, the long crank is normally caused by a weak fuel pump and the way to test that is to check the pressure. Here is a guide that talks about that:

Let me know about this info and we can go from there. Thanks
