Both my back door locks are stuck in the locked position

Hello,

This is probably a ground problem with your vehicle's multiplex control system wiring and the repairs to correct this problem should be little to none. Fuses just protect an electrical circuit from a short to ground, popping when one occurs opening the circuit and stopping runaway amperage from causing an electrical fire. In the diagrams down below I have included a factory Technical Service Bulletin(TSB) that provide give you instructions on how to fix this problem. I have also included a guide for you on how to find an open in an automotive electrical system. You will need to use a Digital Multi-meter (DMM), so here is a link to a guide describing how to use one, if needed:

Oh gosh, thank you so much for the detailed instructions, Alex! However, being a legal secretary and not a mechanic, I'm not in any position to do the work myself but will retain this information for someone who can help me with this!! Thanks so much! Good to know! I hope I haven't broken any rules by asking a question here without being an actual mechanic. It does help me to know what to expect when having repairs done so I'm not tricked into thinking it's a larger, more expensive repair. Thanks again.

Thanks Alex! Your information was so thorough and helpful. I printed out (most all of) the instructions and attachments so either my brother or a non-pro could possibly help me. I love my Honda, but it is getting up there in years. I'm the original owner and I want to squeeze as much life out of it as I can before selling! I have had to replace the transmission twice though, not sure how that happens but apparently Honda's in that approx. time period have faulty transmissions - not a cheap repair. Thanks again, I'll keep my information. I've watched a few YouTube videos that are super helpful and so detailed!

Yes, Hondas and transmissions are weird. I actually went to school, training to be a Honda technician through there university. What they trained us to do with any transmission problem at all was to box it up and ship it to Japan. No training was provided for any type of transmission repair at all. I always thought that was funny, but anyways I'm glad the material helped. Please keep in touch.
