The computer sometimes when it is hot outside will not send voltage to the electronic relay Which send voltage to the solenoid pack and voltage back to the PCM. When I push in and out the c4 connector I restore the voltage and the transmission shifts what could be the problem.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

The issues I have experienced with these connections is that the internal rubber/plastic insulator becomes warped. The result is loss of continuity/open circuit. Hence, issues like you are having. Additionally, I have also found that the tiny pins which make connection corrode and break.

What I suggest is to carefully disconnect C4 and inspect the inside of the plug as well as all of the male connectors.

If you read through this link, "How to Check Wiring," it discusses problems with small pins and shows pics of what to look for.

Do this and let me know what you find. I hope this helps.

Take care,
Joe

I tightened the female pins same issue.however when that happens the and key on engine off security light flashes. All gears on dashboard are lit and battery light on and temperature gauge stays in cold even engine hit.

I have seen a bad battery cause this lets rule it out if it passes this test in the guide below.

The code is p0882. It send voltage to electronic relay in the TIPM. The relay is transmission relay when I wiggle the far right connector I see voltage on the control relay wire and the car shifts normally after I turn it off and let it seat for a while after start the car it will not shift and the voltage is missing on the control relay wire.

The fact that you can wiggle wires or the connector and it works is telling us it is connection at the connector or the circuit board in the TIPM is going out. Can you upload pictures of what you are talking about so we can be on the same page?

Can you remove the connector and check for corrosion? Also check to see if one of the pins has pulled out of the connector.

I replaced connector same problem, however when I unplugged the the transmission range sensor the TCM sent voltage to the transmission aka solenoid pack but the car did not start. How to make sure it is the TRS the culprit?

You are going to need to test through the switch while checking for a connection to ground. Here is a guide to help along with the transmission wiring diagrams:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Sometimes the car goes in limp in mode. When it does and when key is in run position engine off the security light flashes, battery light on, airbag light on, also reverse light not light. So I suspected the TRS. When I unplugged the TRS battery light, airbag light not on and security light off. So I checked the four sense wires of the TRS at the PCM t1 t3 t41 t43 .t41 and 41 matches the charts and t1 and 3 they do not, however they do not match the charts neither when the car is in limp mode or not.
