Occasionally the A/C fan will stop blowing. The climate control panel stays lit and you can make changes but nothing happens. After a few minutes the fan will start blowing again and everything works normally.

When the weather is hot the radio stops working if the car is stopped. For instance you have driven for an hour or so and stop for fuel. When you restart the car the radio does not work. The dial is lighted and you can change volume etc but no sound. After driving for ten minutes or so the radio sound will resume.

Hello,

Can I ask if both problems coincide? Also, when the AC stops can you still hear the blower motor going or does the blower stop?

Please let me know, Ken

The problems do not coincide. The radio display always works and you change stations etc but no sound. This always happens in hot weather, after the car has been driven awhile and been stopped. When you get back in the car and restart the audio does not work for five to ten minutes and then resumes with no additional problems.

The A/C problem happens randomly while driving. The blower motor quits (ie no air movement or sound of blower motor) for a few minutes and then resumes.

Thanks for you response, Kyle

For the radio issue I would say the head unit is going out due to a bad IC or cold solder joint which must people get a used unit or aftermarket. For the blower motor is sounds like the motor is going bad and needs to be replaced, but to confirm the issue please follow this guide and the diagrams below. It will show you how to test for power and ground.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
