My transmission will not shift out of park, I use the override to use my car and at first, I thought the solenoid was bad but when I got a closer look there were two wires that had come loose, and they looked like they should be plugged in. I'm trying to get the clip out but it’s not budging. I also have no idea where the wires are supposed to go, does anyone know how this connector comes out?

Yep, those wires are pulled out/broken to remove the connector you must release the safety clip which is on the left side of the connector. Here is a wiring diagram so you can repair the connector and make the interlock solenoid work again. I am not sure what you are showing is the interlock connector because it only shows two wires but here is the wiring diagram below. Please upload more images of the problem so I can help. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you, this is the solenoid that’s located under the center console. I can get a new wiring connector for it, but I was just wondering how it comes off and how to rewire a new one.

Thanks for the picture, so the white clip next to the wires is the safety you must either spread the clip or collapse it, these are a little difficult.
