Hello! When i just open and close the rear glass hatch to get stuff out of the back my interior lights never shut off. So I then have to go open and close a door for then to go off.
Is there a faulty sensor back there or a switch is on the wrong setting maybe?

Either the switch at that particular door has gone bad or you have a BCM that is going out. To be sure here are the wiring diagrams and a guide so you can test the circuit and the BCM location with replacement instructions below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-wiring

Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Except Cadillac) , Knee Bolster Replacement (Cadillac)
1 Body Control Module
Remove the BCM cover.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Press on the tabs to release the body control module.
If a replacement module is installed, program the module. Refer to Control Module References .

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
