Intake Valve Timing Control location/diagram/removal code p1135

that is the ivtc on right cylinder head. lh is shown in pic so yours will be on the back as well. check resistance with connector disconnected. if not in the 730-890 ohm at 77 degrees then replace it if not that then it's either a cam sensor or another wiring issue.

ok i think i see it. its on the back of the motor? and it has some metal cover/plate over it right? i see it n the drivers side like u said i think but when i look up code p1135 for an 98 q45 it says P1135 Intake Valve Timing Control (Right Bank... So id need to do it on the pass side? if so is it on the pass side but same spot as the drivers side? i nvr did 1 on these cars is it a hard or big job anything i should kno b4 i try to do it? any tricks u can tell me and is there a way to make sure or test it to make sure thats the prob

I looked up wrong code. here is correct pic. use voltohm meter an dtest yellow/green wire for voltage. if no voltage check fuse number 2 for blown. if still no pwer then check wire for being bad. then use a jumper wire and test to see if solenoid works if it doesn't replace it. if solenoid operates check oil pressure an dair intake for blocakages. it's on passenger side

i think its on the back right above the tranny they have 2 one one the pass side one on the drivers side i taled to the dealer and told them code p1135 and they told me its on pass side back of the motor. the 1st pic u gave me thats it but thats the drivers one i need the pass side but u did help me when u showed me the drivers one thank you for the help and pointing me the right way with that one.... But now im being told dirty oil/filter or needing an oil change can do this . idk some ppl online i seen saying thy went thru this and put 10w 40 in and rest the light never had aa prob again i think imma start wit an oil change and go from there. can dirty oil low oil dirty filter make the car pop that code? the car sat almost 14 months i just bought it so idk when the last oil change was or what they used cheap or good oil and filer... when i get time to change it imma do it and ill let you kno how i make out

I fyou look at the pic you will see your oil fill cap and the solenoid is right next to it. change the oil and do what I said on last reply make sure to change oil filter and use either a napa,purolator, wix or bosch filter.

im goin to star with the oil change first thing tomorrow morning but if it is the one u said would it make the car get bad gas miles and run a lil rough its not to bad but it feels like a skip or something i got the code p1135 and some other code just popped up to do with the evap

yes it makes it get poor gasmileage most times any codes is set it will do that.

well i just grabbed the two front ones and the 2 rear ones just to be safe and i got a deal 10 for all 4 + a few other inside parts imma do an oil change firts and replace them right after incase its real irty oil i dont wanna mess the new ones i got up.... but i will deff let u kno the outcome today

Ok I changed the oil put that part in.... But it's funny p1135 was my only code now I put them in drove about 200 miles car still feels the same now the light came on for 5 more codes p0138 p0139 p0158 p0159 and p0160 oak im about to give up when I got the car it had 6 code I replaced everything and 6 other codes popped up I got it down to p1135 fixed that now got 5 o2 codes I think the car for an electric prob idk anymore what way to go

try loosening and tightening engine grounds one on top left front of engine and battery lead that can cause it as well then have apro look at it so you save yourself some money and aggravation any garage should be able to fix this.

Well I gave it an oil change I used good oil and filter changed that part and cleared the code out.... It still runs the same and the codes popping up now are o2 sensors idk they never came up b4 and now they keep poppin up and the car is still doin the same thing... I bought the car to flip and make a lil money so I think imma just dump it now b4 I get into it to deep
