truck was in an front end accident and the ECM was smashed. I replaced it with a used one that came from the same kind of truck same year same engine the only deference was it was a 4x4 my is not. I checked all the grounds, fuses and connectors all ok. but I don't have the wiring diagram or harness routing to check that.

The PCM will need to be reprogrammed so the VIN number matches your truck, For that you need a dealer level scan tool and connection to Chrysler to get the correct data for that VIN. You will also need to know the VIN of the module you currently have. From there you will have a starting point if things do not work, but one of the main signs that a PCM isn't coded is a non functional instrument cluster.
