I had to get a used instrument cluster, the one in the car had been completely shorted out. Mother board on the back of the cluster had so many breaks in the wiring it needed a body cast. I made sure I matched the exact part number and after I installed it everything seemed to be working fine. I did have to replace odometer gear, which was easy to do really, made sure it was properly lubed. It worked for about 1/10th of a mile a stopped working. I did have the car scanned and it said vin number and mileage didn't match with cluster. I was told that that could be why the odometer isn't working with the new gears installed. How or can I correct this issue?

What code number is it because it does not say it needs to be programmed in the replacement instructions. Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes.

Have to put his on the back burner for a bit. I'll have to scan it again to see (codes were erased).

Was an easy fix, removed cluster and rechecked, found the gear wasn't seated correctly. I corrected that ans all is good now. Sorry it took so long to reply, life gets in the way sometimes.
