It is number 440 in this picture but that sensor will have no effect on the speedometer. https://www.2carpros.com/images/external/105997639.gif

That input sensor could effect your shifting problem but it has no effect on speed readings. if you are still having speedometer issues, you could have wiring problems or a defective output sensor. You really need a lab scope to test the signal coming out of the VSS sensor.

Hello,

There is a fuse 10 amp hot when cranked over that sounds like it might be blown. Here is a wiring diagram for the cluster (below) so you can do some testing.

Please run this test and get back to us so we can continue helping you.

This car does not have a input shaft speed sensor here are the transmission wiring diagrams to confirm the issue so you can see how it works. P0502 is for the VSS I would use this guide and the wiring diagrams to confirm the connection between the sensor and the PCM

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find.

The vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is located on transaxle right axle case extension.
If you are wanting to replace it, it is probably best to remove the right front wheel to gain access.
Then simply unplug the harness connector, then unbolt the sensor and do not forget it has an o-ring. To install, reverse order. Tighten the bolt to 8 ft lbs.

It inside the transmission pan near the valve body. This guide will help you see what you are in for when dropping the pan so you can change the sensor out with diagrams below on how to do the job and the sensor location.

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
