As you know my truck has been down for a min i finally got it running! For one day then on my way back from town I was acting like a fuel pump was going out, barely making it home. Well, I put a new pump in and had the same issue. I did some homework and did a scan on it, and I had 5 codes piping up one was the EVAP purge which I replaced and in the process, I noticed I had a short on lugs 6 4 and 2 injectors, so I took them off and put newer ones on. Well, it started but it’s acting like it's starving for air or fuel as soon I touch the throttle body it dies and won’t start until it’s flat cold! Now the. My only has one code for dinner, says open or shorted condition, detected and control circuit up or injector number one or in the INJ one injector bank. So, my question is, where is the check your bank? And is it just in the wire that I posted it in one of the short now or is it actually a different area? One code p0201 I wanted to know where the injector bank is and circuit F is located!

P0201 a malfunction with the cylinder 1 injector circuit. I would check the connector for corrosion and if it looked okay, I would replace the injector. If the injector shorts out it can cause the PCM to partially shut down, which could be the larger problem you are having. Here is a guide to help you test the injector and how to replace it in the image below:

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Okay, I found the short on the injector repaired. I no longer have a code. But now it still only starts when it’s cold and then it runs rough. So, what my question is, will the map center cause this? And what other sister would cause this because it’s not coming up on my scanner, the OBD two or my scanner are not picking anything up.

I have one other question if I may ask, is there a second fuel filter on the sucker other than the one that’s in the tank? I seem to can’t locate it if there is one.
