Hi there, I just got these repairs done last week: Front shocks, new waterpump, new thermostat, air filter, oil filter and oil change, new timing belt, replaced oil pressure switch, complete brake job, seals, and wheel balance. I felt like the car had been "restored." Now, when I drive fast on the freeway I see a CLOUD of white smoke coming from the tail pipe??? I took it back to the mechanic and he checked oil, coolant, and fluids. Couldn't find anything wrong and he thinks it's "just" steam. I've driven this car since 1997 and the steam that comes out in the morning when it's first started doesn't look like this!! Also, one of the times that I saw the cloud of smoke in the rear-view mirror, the car seemed to hesitate as if it wanted to stop. Please help!!
