Transmission problem
1997 Infiniti I30 6 cyl Automatic 230,00 miles
I recently had two sensors replaced in my car. About 5 days after getting it out of the shop, the rpms began shooting up while I was driving. This only happened at lower speeds when I was on side streets. The car feels like it is shifting up, the engine revvs really hard, and then drops back down to normal. The mechanic who worked on my car 5 days before said this has nothing to do with the sensors they just replaced, and it sounds like the transmission to him. What could be causing the car to do this?
Thanks!
