1996 Infiniti G20 Harmonic Balancer

A mechanic referred to me replaced the harmonic balancer and the two serpentine belts on my G20. Tried to start the car afterwards and engine did nothing, The next day I connected the battery again and the engine attempted to start but would not turn over. In the meantime I hear what sounds like an electrical hum coming from the direction of the transmission. Just need to know what I can do to get it started so I can take it to a certified mechanic here in Atlanta. I live in an apartment complex and there is not enough clearance for a tow truck to get in and get my car.
