charge light fuse location

The fuse is located in the instrument panel fuse box (left side of instrument panel behind access door). It is fuse #7 (20A). Also, with the key ON, engine OFF, check for 12v at the alternator Factory Test Connector which is located at the top of the engine behind the alternator (the wire to the Factory Test Connector is brown). If 12v are present, this will indicate that the fuse, Indicator bulb and wiring that connects them are working properly.
If the Factory Test Connector is difficult to locate, trace the small brown wire that comes from the back of the alternator at the two/three wire connector; this will lead you to the Factory Test Connector.
