Indicators and headlights intermittently working?

This sounds like it is the switch or the controller, I believe this car has lighting controller that goes bad. Sure, enough, here is the information I found.

COMM2000 Unit Failure:
The COMM2000 (or headlight/indicator control unit) is known to cause intermittent failures in these functions. Many owners have reported that when this unit starts to malfunction.

I would replace the COMM2000 Unit which should fix the problem.
