indicator stalk

how do I remove the indicator stalk from my Isuzu trooper ?
do I need to take off the steering wheel in order to replace this part ?

I have searched for answers ,or a diagram without any luck . what happened to the good old 'Haynes manuals 'that one could look at for relatively simple fixes ??

Yes, you need to remove the steering wheel to replace the multifunction switch.

If equipped with SRS, take care not to turn the cable reel and reinstall the way the steering wheel was removed.
