IMRC Actuator and solenoid

Does any one know any thing about IMRC and components I hear it is the hardest to diagnose and the most expensive. The arm were the actuator does not move at all you can take your and it will move that way, and this focus has two solenoids a the IMRC solenoid and the other is called something else,I was thinking of un-bolting the actuator and maybe I could see if the cable came off or something.Could any one tell me how to test the solenoids and when does the actuator arm suppose to move? Thanks
