When turning lights on truck causes brakes on fifth wheel trailer to pulse on and off. Have rewired impulse with new brake wire directly to trailer plug. Any suggestions?

Check both the trailer and the truck for a bad ground to the lights. Sounds like you have one that is corroded and feeding power back to the brakes.
