Grinding noise

i am hearing a grinding noise coming from the belt area. it started when i started using my air conditioner. the oil is fine it blows cold air, it is not overheating it still drives good. it is like a grinding noise.

Hi Mary.

It sounds like you have serpentine belt tension-er that has gone out.
