Can someone please send me a picture of the back of their ignition switch? I need to see the wires and how they are placed in the female end of the connector.

Nissan doesn't show the switch in their connector layouts in a color diagram, however using an image and the diagram we can show the connections. If you look inside the switch, it should also show the connection points. Hope that helps.

The only hard one is that they used Black with red for both the starting and the ignition. Probably the easiest way to figure those out would be to apply battery power to each one and the one that turns the starter motor goes to the S terminal in the middle.

Yeah, I don't know why they used the same colors to do two different things. Makes no sense but Nissan does things like that.

What is the original problem? Bad switch? Burned connection?

I'm not sure how do I tell if it is a burned connection.

Can I take the 2 screws out of this piece on the ignition to remove that part for easier access without any other problems?

So, what is the original problem? You cannot shift out of park with the car stopped? The screws hold the switch together, don't remove them.
