My car was stolen. When i got it back the ignition switch is in pieces. So i am trying to wire an old ignition switch to be able to start and drive my car. There are 6 wires coming from my wiring harness and four wire connections on the switch i want to use. the wiring chart i got for my car states twelve volts constant = red or black, twelve volts ignition= white/ blue, second ignition = white, twelve volts accessories = green and starter wire = black/ yellow. On the switch there is four connections. Starter ignition, accessories and battery. I attached the black/ yellow wire to the starter connection on the switch , the green wire to accessories, the white/ blue wire to the ignition , the black to battery and I am left with the white second ignition wire and the red wire. That is where i am stuck. what can i do to get this ignition to start and run my vehicle?

You actually need to replace the OEM unit with an OEM unit, there are a couple security items that depend on having the correct key and switch. Without them it will not run anyway.
You would probably be better off just getting a salvage column and swapping that in. That would be a plug in item, then you just need to have a locksmith or dealer reset the security system to work with the new parts.
