Ignition switch is stuck open?

If my switch is stuck open and won't lock with the key, do I need a new ignition switch?

Yes, it sounds like it, this is common when the ignition lock wears out, I would get a programmed key and lock from the dealer and follow the instruction below to install the new unit.
