Ignition switch will not turn back enough?

Yes my key will not turn back enough to let me take the key out, i even took the ignition lock cylinder out and tried to turn the actuator gear back to the off position and it still will not turn back enough. what can I do?

You need to see if the tumble is bad or something has broken inside the column. I would remove the tumble and use a standard screwdrivers to work the tumbler receiver and see if it turns completely. If so, the tumbler could have fallen apart internally and need to be replaced. Please upload pictures or videos in your response so I can see what's going on.
