Can't turn the steering wheel at all, can't turn the key either. power running through the car still and can't shift to make sure car is in park fully.

Once I tapped the back of the key a couple of times it turned. I'm thinking it might be my ignition switch.

Thanks for the video. this is common when the ignition tumbler needs to be replaced. here are diagrams and instructions on how to replace the part. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
