An answer in 2011 show how to remove a defective ignition lock cylinder on a my 2003 Pontiac Grand Am. You have to drill out the bolts. (no way otherwise to remove). But where or how do you attach the new part?

I am attaching the process for the 2003 Grand Am ignition switch. I am just not sure if this is what you are looking for because you listed the vehicle as a 1993 so if you are looking for something different, let us know and we can figure this out.
