For my 1992 BMW 525i Touring I received a new lock housing with new key from a local parts dealer

I installed the new housing; but when I turned the key, the key with the tumbler came out.

How do I install the tumbler?

I am not familiar with this and could not find any information onit.

The tumbler is held in place by a pin or clip and is it comes separate from the lock, check the original lock. There could be a pin or clip that you need to reuse for holding the tumbler.
