Ignition key won't unlock doors

I bought a 1998 mustang used and it came with on key the ignition key, the key will start the car and open the trunk but will not unlock the doors.

You will have to remove the door lock and a locksmith can cut a key from that.

thank you, I am just going to replace the door locks and ignition as someone tried to break into my mustang on the passenger side by busting the lock

Changing the ignition lock will require programming by the dealer or a locksmith unless it is set to the same key.
