Ignition key and anti theft?

This is because the ignition key must be programmed to the car for it to work and satisfy the Skreem module. So now the car's security system has kicked in, this is why the security light is flashing. Here are the instructions on how to install the new ignition switch and key and how to reprogram the system. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thanks for replying so quickly. This was all very informative and helpful. So, I guess my next question is since I busted the cylinder lock in the Ignition kit of my old car. That original key will not go into that lock cylinder. Can I get a key that is just like mine? Identically looking to a Chrysler 200 2013. Take the transponder chip out of it. Put it on the transponder and the certain spot that the key. The chip needs to be in order to start with the Avenger key in Ignition. And turning it on kind of like tricking the computer that my key is in it and another question is. Are all Chrysler 200 2013 the same transponder chips?
Do they use the same chip?

Each chip is programmed to the car, I have seen people switch the chips but I am not sure if you can do that with your, I would dissemble the old key to see if you can find it, if not, you can have a mobile locksmith come out to do the job/program the ignition key it should cost about $250.00.

I do not have an original key I went to a junk yard and found a key in a Chrysler T&C van the key looked identical to mine my question is this:

Will an exact year and model key just like the original be the same transponder chip inside? Or am I just going to have to spend few 100$?

Each chip is individually programmed to the car so even if they look the same reprogramming is necessary or the security system will stay on.
