The steering wheel unlocks it but sometimes it takes more attempts than normal I think. Occurring more often now.

Key will not turn occasionally

Welcome to 2CarPros.
What I need you to do is change keys. Try the spare key. Often times the key itself will wear and not allow the tumbler in the switch to turn easily. Try that and let me know what you find.
