Ignition column replaced and now it will not crank?

I just replaced my ignition column for my car while using the same ignition lock cylinder to keep from buying and using a new key. After the replacement was installed, my car would not crank. I put the old switch into the new column I had installed to see if the issue was lying in the key and new switch, as it may not be able to read my key with its new switch that comes with the new column. But the same problem still occurs. The car doesn’t crank.

Do you have a security light flashing when you try to crank it over? Also, make sure there is nothing like a floor mat holding the clutch pedal up so as not to trigger the neutral safety switch. Do all if the lights come on for the dash? Please upload videos of the problem so we can see what's going on. Make sure all of the wiring connectors from the car to the column are connected fully.
