try another key first as it may be a security issue, then scan for codes. then check for rotor in dist cap free play or moving while cranking over, if it moves with engine shut off or doesn't turn the gear is gone on dist and you need another. a pro will have to time it to get cam and crank sensor in sync as it needs a pro scanner for that.
