If I remove the head of the passenger side of the motor will I still have to retime it

I just want to move the head off and have not worked on and put it back on I just need to know will it make me have to retime it when I get it off and go to put it back on

The short answer is yes. Any time you remove the timing chain and camshafts you will have to reset the timing for the engine.

I am including the important parts of reinstalling the cylinder heads on this engine. I assume that you have a spark plug issue which is why you are removing the head. This was pretty common on this engine so please run through this info and let me know if you have questions.
