Idles really rough an stalls

Idles rough like a stumble then stalls. Had a open circuit code on #3 cylinder. I checked the olhmes on the injectors #3 was bad. I replaced it. Started it up an still does the same thing. But i get no codes an no check engine light. Did something similar before an ended up being the egr valve. Do you think this could be the problem again?

it could be but also a vacuum leak or low fuel pressure will do it as well, so check all three see link

I changed the egr also. Stays on now though. But idles at a stumble like it wants to shut off. An at times idles really rough an shakey.

so have you checked what has been suggested? check for a vacuum leak as well.

So. I removed everything to expose the cams an timing chain. Facing the front of the car on the left side cam gears the chain was broke. Along with the guide an tensioner. Think its best to replace with a timing kit ir just change the broken one. Ill upload some photos.

if your chain broke this engine will bend valves so check for bent valves by pulling heads off otherwise you'll just have to do it again after replacing chain
