I have a code i think was P0507 or 506. It said the idle air control valve circuit was high. The idle speed is normal, there's no fluctuation. I can't seem to find any photos online of where the valve is located, i would like to clean it out and see if that helps the issue. If you could send me a diagram of where it is located i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

This truck does not have an IAC motor, it is integrated into the throttle body which sounds like it is bad. I would get a new part and install it then clear the codes to fix the problem. Here is how the job is done. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

So I went ahead and replaced the throttle body and took it to get relearned and the code came back on on my 2007 Ram.

This can be caused by a vacuum leak, I would go over these guides to see how to fix it.

P0507 - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

P0506 - Idle Control System RPM Lower Than Expected
