I have a 2000 volkswagon jetta, nothing was ever wrong with it, when I went to start my car one day I couldn't get it out of park. I pressed the brake as hard as I could, it wouldn't budge. I then checked the brake lights, and when the brake was pressed, the lights also didn't work. any idea what it could be ? thank you.
