I cannot locate the fuel filter?

I've took it to a shop, but they cannot locate the fuel filter on my 1993 Oldsmobile royale 88 3800 series 1 and I cannot either.

If it has an external one, it would be mounted on the right-side frame rail up at the front of the car. Then there is the in-tank filter that is part of the pump. GM had started eliminating the inline filters around that time.
