Hi,

My 2005 Hyundai Tiburon starts well on most days. Recently, on very cold days, it cranks for almost 60 seconds before it almost starts. It almost soundfs like it is out of tune (tune up is curremt). It will then start up on the next try.

When it starts, it fires up and all is well. The clock sets to 1:00.

Why does it take so long to recently start on cold mornings?

Good question. I would start by checking fuel pump pressure drop off. WHen the pump is turned off, it should still hold pressure in the system. If it drops to 0psi, it takes a few seconds for the pump to reprime and build pressure. THat is what I would check first.
