2003 Hyundai Tiburon Clutch Slip

Hi there,

These are a pull type clutch, so i would be thinking that the only way it could slip is that the work shop did not torque down the clutch pressure plate correctly, take it back to the work shop that did the job, this is there responsibility to check there work is correct first.

Thanks for the reply Mark.
The workshop told me that it was due to crud in the fluid an that i need a new slave cylinder, does this sound right ?

If the slave cylinder was so bad, why was it not replaced in the first place, if it was sticking on, in theory this could be the cause, buy in over 35 years in the industry, i have never seen this as they have described, but there is always a first time .... maybe.....
