i drive the care daily 30 miles or so.. the car started up with no issues this morning but the other morning started up after few tries... drove car to work this morning then went to try to start it after work.. car only started after many tries and sounded rough when idoling.. also i tried to rev the engine to 3000 rpm and the engine would acutally jump from 2000 to 3000 and still sounded very poor. we tried to see if we could hear the fuel pump running upon turning the key but not starting the engine... we heard little or nothing. then we tried to tap the fuel tank with rubber mallet to see if that helped.. it did not.. so the question iis what are some possible things that could cause this to occur.
