My daughter's tiburon started to blow alot of steam and lost alot of coolant on the interstate. It is obviously on the passenger side of the engine compartment/fan belt side. It is not obvious where it is leaking from. I surmise the water pump? or Heater hoses? Does a water pump blow coolant when it goes out? The main hoses to the radiator are on the driver's side of the engine. She states the car was still running when she pulled over and NO warning lights were on when she shut the car off. Thanks

Hi JCPC202, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

If the water pump malfunction it will not circulate coolant therefore the engine temperature will rise and cause your problem, also a stuck closed thermostat-radiator clogged-up and a defective radiator cap.
