The lights flash on the outside and inside the car. The key fob has been checked and the key battery has been changed. I have no power to the car.

Does not start, it does not detect the key?

The first thing we should check is the 12-volt car battery, if it is dead or low on charge it will cause this issue. The Auxiliary 12V Battery is located in the trunk on the right side.
To be sure, turn the lights on for about 15 minutes, if they stay bright the battery might be okay but if the lights go out or dim the battery is no good. Here is how to change the battery out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
